Jamie is an American Red Cross Certified Swimming Instructor. She has been teaching since 1994 and swimming since 1986 in pre-comp, USS (United States Swimming), High School, College and now USMS (Masters). She has raced at the regional, national, and inter-national level. Jamie couples her own passion as an avid Triathlete and marathon swimmer with her BS in Exercise Science (w/ an emphasis in Fitness and Wellness Management) to be our top level triathlete coach.
With nearly 25 years of teaching swimming lessons, she loves to teach to all ages, levels, and abilities! She has a gift for working with people who have a fear of the water because she herself drown at 2 years old and worked hard to overcome her own fear.
Lincoln is an architecture student at the University of Utah. He has been swimming for ten years and coaching for six years, his specialties being butterfly and freestyle. He has coached for Murray Aquatic Club and Murray High School, and has worked with a wide variety of people and ages. He loves to teach and especially loves seeing people progress. He enjoys painting, crochet, baking, music, and just about anything creative. He spent his last summer as a cast member at Disney World.
Nyah started swimming at a young age and has many fond childhood memories in the water. In high school, she joined swim team and started teaching not long after. She loved every minute of the four years she swam competitively, and kept teaching after she graduated. With nearly five years of teaching experience, Nyah loves working with kids of all skill levels in the water.
She finds teaching very rewarding and her favorite part of her job is watching her students grow and progress. Currently, Nyah is studying Anthropology at the University of Utah, and also works as a swing dance instructor at a local venue in Salt Lake. She loves dancing, travel, and the outdoors.
Bella is an Art Teaching student at the University of Utah. She grew up swimming and taught swim lesson for two years. She loves to teach and is excited to be teaching swim lessons again. She love art, mountain biking, knitting and climbing.
Natalie is a kind, patient, and dedicated girl who has a genuine love for the water and enjoys sharing her skills with others. She has been swimming since she was little and has been a member of the Layton High Swim Team for the past three years. She loves dancing, music and taking hard classes in school. Natalie is understanding, and a great listener, which helps her connect especially well with young children. She is encouraging and enthusiastic in everything she does and looks forward to helping others learn how to safely enjoy the water which she so deeply loves!
